Diseases Threaten Banana Crops in Africa

Banana and plantain crops in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Democratic Republic of Congo are being threatened by two separate diseases, the banana bacterial wilt and the bunchy top disease in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda Tanzania and Democratic Republic of Congo. Banana is an important source of nutrient in the African diet.
