KENYA: PEPFAR Doubles AIDS Funding

The U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) pledged $2.7 billion over the next five years to advance HIV programs in Kenya. This pledge is a 112 percent increase from previous funding for the country, and makes Kenya the biggest PEPFAR recipient in Africa.
