Women Shy Away from HIV Vaccine Trials

Women are less willing than men to participate in HIV/AIDS vaccine trials, researchers at the Makerere University Walter Reed Project revealed Tuesday. Women are more vulnerable to HIV infection, and low female participation in vaccine trials could hinder the comprehensive efficacy of a possible vaccine.
