Based in Geneva, IFPMA has official relations with the United Nations and contributes industry expertise to help the global health community find solutions that improve patients’ lives. Our industry makes a unique contribution to global health as innovators of life-saving and life-changing medicines and vaccines. We expand access to care and treatment in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), support health systems to use resources efficiently and collaborate on some of the most ambitious global health goals of our time. IFPMA and its member companies are involved in over 200 global health partnerships to train healthcare professionals, build infrastructures, pioneer ways to overcome barriers to accessing quality healthcare and innovatively tackle diseases that disproportionally affect communities in the poorest parts of the world.
